· The 2nd Congressional District Town Hall on the Cost of War for Congressman Walden is Saturday, February 17 2 p.m. at Redmond Senior Center, 325 NW Dogwood. Constituents in Oregon’s 2nd Congressional District represented by Greg Walden are hosting a town hall on February 17 in Redmond to discuss the cost of war. The town hall will include delegations from the 20 counties that comprise the 2nd Congressional District, a huge geographical area that stretches from The Dalles and Grants Pass in the West to Baker City and Ontario in the East. Powell Butte resident Phil Paterno will be testifying to the local cost of war in Crook County at the 2nd Congressional District Town Hall on the Cost of War. Testimony from constituents to Congressman Walden will highlight the existing human needs of the 2nd District that are currently going unmet as a result of federal funding priorities and spending on the war.
